Niiiiiice Roddy... Nice

I walk in the bathroom to find Roddy's masterpiece first thing this morning :} I mean he is just so cute!!! And he was pretty dang proud of it too!!

Aaaahhhhh Brothers...

So Wyatt was "flying like a rocket with bullets" the other day and busted his lip. It was bleeding just a little and I gave him a washcloth which made it all better... UnTiLL his little brother wanted to steal it, SOOO needless to say Roddy ended up with one of his very own and was looking up to his older brother for all skill needed to tend a sore lip!!! I just thought this pic captured those "sibling moments" so perfectly!!!

I wish I could really put into words how wonderful this experience was. I have planned this trip multiple times and it just never quite worked out but this time, THIS TIME it did :)

It was cRaZy... I mean we left @ 9pm Thursday, got there @ 10am Friday, I went to the 1pm session, we hung around for a little while and then left @ 6pm to return home @ 7am Saturday {Don't fret we stopped off for a nice hot shower @ the flying J truck stop ~which by the way is totally not as scary as it sounds hahahahaha}

All in all the trip was fun but the Temple was WONDERFUL. There is definitely a reason I have always wanted to go and do that... My testimony has grown and I am so grateful!

I'm finally on my way to SLC!!! A friend of mine was driving and welp I'm gettin in for the ride and I am finally guna see Salt Lake! I have wanted to go to Temple square for years and although I have planned @ least 3 trips something always changes... NOT THIS TIME!

Not so much for the walkin yet but that will come soon enough... Take your time little boy, once you walk you are all grown up in the blink of an eye :(

Well we got to celebrate Halloween a week early YIPPEE! Wyatt was Buzz Lightyear (and very pumped about it) and Roddy well he adorned a lovely elephant!!! We went to Cruces and had a blast @ Brooke's mom & dads annual Halloween party {that by the way is such a tradition I attended in High School}!!! Our kids had a blast together and no suprise so did we! I wish I had a picture of Heber.. he made and amazing Luigi!!!

Whelp June 18 was the last post annnnnnddddd....

DRUM ROLL PLEASE:

Yesterday I weighed in @ 136... I wont even lie... I went psycho and ate my self from 137 to 148 in like a 2wk span but it's all good I mean one short cycle of HCG later I wasted 13lbs and got to my all time goal weight of 135!!! YIPPEE!

Needless to say as long as I eat well (not perfect just well) and contain my binge habits I maintain wonderfully!!! I have learned so much about just eating healthily and what really effects ME as far as diet is concerned... Thank you HCG!!! PS i am the all time epitome of an emotional eater BUT HEY THAT CRAP MIGHT MAKE ME PISSED BUT IT AIN'T GUNA MAKE ME FAT!!! B.T.B.Y. SuKaH

So I know its been forever! We moved to Pima!!! I know now that regardless of how long and hard everyone tried to brainwash me against this little piece of Heaven its ExAcTlY where we are meant to be :} Wyatt will be 4 in Feb... and Roddy just turned 1 @ the beginning of the month... I mean how come it has to go by so fast???? I'm sure that you are all aware of the recent events in our family... Everyone is whelp errrr adjusting... I wont lie its rough @ times, lots of times, but we are a happy little family and it gets more ummm adjusted every day!!! I'm very lucky to have such wonderful family and friends, with out their support I don't know where we'd be!!!

So here's the lowdown:

Rach- still workin like a dawg... remind me again why I love my job so much??? I know cuz its amazing and I am really lucky to work with MoStLy wonderful peeps!!! Tryin to figure out this whole livin life single thing, WEIRD to say the least!!! Havin a absolute BLAST w/ the boys when they are here and keepin my self busy when they're not!!!

Wyatt- Really is the most amazing kid in the whole world... I know this is all really hard on him but he does better than I could ever expect!!! Who knew a little kid could crack me up SOOO often!!! He must follow that "from a happy family" thing my mom and dad used to say about me :)

Roddy J- AlMoSt walkin... sayin a few adorable words and always, always, always laughing!!!

Well the first phase of the HCG saga is over!!! I lost a grand total of 22 lbs and my final weigh in is 139 YIPPEE! I have to say i am nervous to get back to regular food and eating how I should but I have learned to love to take care of my body. I know there will be an adjustment period but I am excited to continue to train myself to take care of my body! {posts will Im sure become random but I wont totally forget} I promise to be honest about how I do, for instance I have gained 2.4lbs since I quit the drops but I am trying to figure out this maintance phase... here goes nothin AGAIN!

Well today is officially the end of cycle one! I have decided to do 2 back to back which means I'll do a total of 41 days... I love the results I've seen and my goal weight is 135 so as far as I can figure I'll be there in no time :). Don't get me wrong its ExtRemEly boring eating the same crap all the time... I literally sucked on a goldfish today just for some extra flavor BAHAHAHAHAH however I have noticed that I don't really even want the food I think I want, and trust me I'm thinkin a lot about the things I want... Pecan Pie, Mrs. Freshleys cup cakes, and some freakin queso and chips!!! All that aside I'm excited to have a slammin body hahahahaha RIGHT! Just excited to feel good in my own skin again for the first time in years! I'll keep ya posted I promise.....

Ok so I've lost almost 15lbs in the shortest amount of time ever! SOOOO EXCITING... I've learned so much about my eating habits by doing this and I think that is the most important part!

CONFESSION:
Today I got a wild hair and ate whatever I wanted.. Breakfast burro: made way better choices than I used to ie: no cheese potato or baccon, wheat tortilla (which I ended up dumping cuz it just didn't taste good)
Snacked: Nuts, bite of moms burro PEANUT BUTTER COOKIE (uh x2) and maybe 3/4 of a piece of 4 layer choc pie... I KNOW I KNOW REDICULOUS!

I do have to say though when I think about food the crappy stuff I used to love doesn't even sound good, If I would have eaten dinner all that sounded good was lean meat and veggies... YEAH I LOVE THAT!
not to mention the sweets I ate weren't even as good as I dreamed them up to be! This day could have just been a good thing for me WE SHALL SEE

Ok so I looked in the mirror yesterday and well NOTICED A HUGE DIFFERENCE!!!!! I think the rumors I heard are true... after the first week the weight loss slowed down but I can't complain @ all... my only reccomendation if you do it... DRINK ALL YOUR WATER... it really makes a difference

Ok 7 days and I've lost 6 pounds... when I put it that way I'm pretty sure I could do this forever LOL really the diet isn't that hard @ all and the pounds I'm dropping are keeping up the motivation that's for sure! Ill bet by next week ill feel so much better after not eating crap that it won't be hard @ all to keep goin! I NEED TO DRINK MORE WATER AND ILL LOOSE MORE THOUGH!

So end of the first day and if I'm being honest I'm not @ all hungry. There was a lil hunger @ 3p but an orange put it to rest :) everything I wanna eat I don't really want that bad and fo sho can live w/o it! Weigh in tomorrow.......

Ok so today is the first official day of hcg madness! Woke up squirted under tongue went pee weighed in (after 2 days of eating enough to makke me sick I only gained 2 pounds) cleaned up the house and drank a bottle of water... so far I'm not feeling the hunger let's hope it stays that way! 2nd dose of hcg in 5 min lunch @ 1130 I'll keep posting all the nitty gritty ;)

So my pour eldest son has had a RouGh time lately...

We had a breif pink eye scare... not to worry wyatt got some creepY dye in his eye and a few antibiotic drops and we were all better... so we thought... UNTILL

He fell off his friends bed... Yup jumpin on the bed landed him in the ER!! Needless to say they sent him home thinking it was just dislocated and well... 2 weeks later went to the Dr. for a check up and it had been broken the EnTiRe time :( What can I say he's a tough little guy!!!

Wyatt went to Utah with Gary's mom for a week and had a BLAST! I missed him so much and am soooo glad he's home... Eatin a sucker @ Grandma's... Best part... BEIN SPOILED!

Roddy is doing very good... He sleeps good and eats like a champ! Gettin bigger and chunkin out :)

I love being a mom of 2! No complaints... VERY BUSY but it makes me so happy to see these boys together. Wyatt is so good to his brother and protects him always!

p.s. just in case you're wondering about the name...

Roddy is a name Gary and I have loved for years and Jay is after my brother, Trevor Jay :)

OOOOk... First it was the DUMB Twilight thing... I started before anyone even know what they were and have to admit when people asked what I was reading I was TOTALLY embarrassed to explain! However I was totally addicted and waited on the edge of my seat for the next one to come out!!!

Then... Yes then Shayla and I had to go to San Diego for a conference and well what else was I supposed to do? An entire day by the pool w/ a book to read, I GUESS :) So I was officially hooked... These I have to admit use some AWFUL language that is totally unnecessary but I fell in hook line and sinker! CAN'T WAIT FOR THE THIRD ONE!!! O yes... Can't forget this amazing story! I couldn't put it down... I REFUSE to say to much cuz you just need to crack the cover and start the story!!! AMAZING!!!
Then for the third and final time I started The Host... I finished it this time and just as everyone reassured me it was worth it in the end but I didn't love it till like page 350 which was ROUGH!!!

SSSOOOOO... What's next??? Who knows but if it's AMAZING I'll let ya know!!!

O Man... There's really a baby on the way!!! I guess now that I've gotten his room almost all set up it's kinda sinking in that in just a few short mos we'll have a new little cowboy in the house!

I love the bedding I found for the crib... AMAZING deals are hard to come by but I just couldn't pass this one up! I can't wait to see the little guy sleepin in it :) October 4th can't come fast enough!

So we've been fairly busy and I am not expecting to have a normal weekend for the rest of the summer... one AMAZING thing... that means the summer will fly and I can finally see my little boy!!! I am due Oct 4th and trying to be patient!!! Wyatt has started talking soooo much better & if I really pay attention I even understand the entire sentence!!! Shayla and I went to San Diego for a work conference this past weekend WONDERFUL!!! It was on trauma and forensic radiology I know most people think it's totally gross that I love the blood and guts of my job but what can I say I'm a weirdo!!! PROMISE I'll post pictures soon
